Hacking HALP ME!

I have never been lost in hacking my wii until now. My wii was on 4.0 with a WiiKey2 Modchip and i was really happy. I was playing New Super Mario Bros wii and shit. Everything worked.

Then i heard the Internet Channel was free and because of that i updated to 4.2 to get the shop channel.

Now i cant play New Super Mario Bros Wii


Edit: I cant even run heombrew like DOP. Im trying to install IOS70 but i cant HALP!

Can someone help me

You need to run the Trucha Bug Restorer and reinstall your cIOS's. Go to one of the 4.2 guides in the stickies for that.

Check out xzxero guide that is at the top of the board and follow the part for hacking after updating to 4.2

I downloaded the IOS wads and trucha got them, but its and error now saying it cant make the revision number 0.

Anyways yeah Trucha found the ISO's but it cant set the revision number to 0. So im stuck again.

I used Trucha Installed MOD to do the first steps in xzxero's 4.2 guide. So using that i do think i installed the Trucha Bug back on.

I used DOP mod to download to IOS to play it and it worked.

I decided to buy some shit from the shop channel and i have to update. I was skeptic but i did it anyways.

Now New Super Mario bros wont run!

Rofl.. you have fallen in the trap of NINTENDO.. never trust them, they will try to get in the trap to update by trapping you with (some point for internet channel, etc)

With the Update to 4.2, you lost Region-Free. So games from PAL won't work anymore on your Wii. That's what you get for not thinking and searching, sorry.

Anyways, looks like your ISO is patched, so I would do the following:

-Install the cIOS again, and download and trucha patch with DOP-IOS IOS53. Then run the game through GeckoOS.
-Wait patiently. There's a rumor (only a rumor!) that an Update for the Chip will come.
-Get yourself an unpatched copy, and use GeckoOS and the Cheat.
-Buy the game

Pick one, and next time read up, before doing something.

Im running on 4.2U with a WiiKey2 Modchip

I have a patched copy of New Super Mario Bros that worked on 4.0u

I can use DOP-IOS to patch my shit up now, but when i attempt to to install IOS53 i get an error.

I cannot play any pal games including my New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Please Help, i Think that should clear it up

Alright guys, After a day of fucking over the internet i managed to do the following

I can now play my PAL games straight through the disc channel again.

Downgraded to 4.1

Reinstalled IOS53 and trucha patched via DOp-IOS

It wont let me download IOS60.......

I cant play new super mario bros.

This is my only problem. Thank you to the people who helped me before.
