Are these GuliKit Joysticks? Are they all faulty and not getting aftermarket support?

Yeah seller kinda disappeared but its ok they were cheap They are og gulikit and as said before i don't mind clicking sound but one downside is that they are easy to push down in the same direction for all joysticks when moving.

I think the lowest I’ve seen when buying in bulk on AliExpress has been $7-$8 around Black Friday per pair when you bought x50

@AKNES I kept these from an older AliExpress order, only 2 pair had these what I feel are improved caps, any idea if they will ever move fully to these. Image for comparison, the right pair are a lot less slick.

You can take a look, the one on the left is the old version and the one on the right is the new version. If you have both versions, you can easily tell them apart from the pictures.
There should be new versions on the market now. If you still buy the product on the left in the near future, it may be the seller's old inventory.

Thank you! Both are the new version, but the caps are still different, not a big issue but I do like the new version! I’ve had a lot less issues.

Take off the cap and then take the sticker off leaving the middle section and place it around the base of the analogue stick.

Yes you just pull the caps and then put the sticker on the base of the sticks, the square, so when you put the stick on the Joy-con case the sticker fills the gap

The big problem with first batch is a sightly click on the movement of one of the axis that click can be paired with a "jump" on the movement of the Joy-con on game. That click is caused by a minuscule bump on one of the plastic rails

1. In fact, there is no functional difference, except that the gap has become smaller, and the material of the joystick cap has been changed.
2. Later products in the old version basically solved the "click" problem. However, since the early and late stages of the old version cannot be directly distinguished, this makes users more anxious about whether the old version is equivalent to the inferior version. In fact, it is not.
To sum up, no matter the old version or the new version, only the material of the joystick cap has been changed, and the gap has become smaller. As long as you encounter product problems, no matter the old or new version, you can seek after-sales support from the seller.
As for stickers, both old and new versions need to use them to eliminate gaps. On the AKNES Amazon link, you can find picture or video to learn how to use stickers. Pull out the cap, put a ring-shaped sticker on it, put the cap back on, and that's it.

We have not changed the packaging or pictures, but GuliKit has added pictures of the differences between the old and new versions on the official website. It's true that there are very few older versions out there, so we don't think it's very important. And for AKNES, we provide after-sales support whenever there are product issues.

Yes, this was the biggest problem in the old version of the early product, and we have solved it in the second batch in the first half of the year.
But for users who learn about this product later, due to information asymmetry, they will think that this problem will still exist as long as it is an old version.

do you have that fixed ones ? are they still pushing down easier in one direction i think it is direction where flextape is.

I installed the new joysticks, and run the recalibration entry on Switch: is it normal that even when tilting the analog completely to the right, I couldn't get the green dot to reach the border? This happened to the left joystick, the right one had a similar issue but it occurred when tilting the analog down instead.
I haven't tried any game yet so I don't know if this is really a problem, just wanted to know if it's normal.

what, nope : O but idk why on old gulikit non hall it takes me idk 4 attempts to calibrate and after that calibration works perfectly fine each time. Maybe try some more and lets hope for the best.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. This only occured before recalibration. Now that I have calibrated them, I can move the green dot around just fine.

Yea the newest version is easier to calibrate, for some reason on the first GuliKit stick version I had some that just never would calibrate. Aknes and Gulikit both sorted out the few pairs I had issues with, I haven’t had any issue with the newer version. Hoping we get another AliExpress sale here soon!
