I’ve got high hopes for this kit. Gulikit also has a pro-style controller with hall sensors. It got great reviews. Mostly for not drifting anymore.

GuliKit Hall Effect Sensing Joystick,No Deadzone,No Drift,FPS Model Controller, KingKong 2 Pro Wireless Bluetooth Gamepad for Switch/Switch OLED/PC/Android/MacOS/IOS,APG Button/Dual Vibration-White https://a.co/d/14NGmJb

I’ve got 2 pair in my cart now. One for my switch and one for my kids. Going to wait for a few returns to clear first.

I'm interested in the Guli pro controller, but I've heard murmurs they suffer from input delay/worse latency than regular sticks. Would appreciate some clarity on whether that's true or not.

Pretty pricey but probably worth it if you actually like using the joycons like me.
I wonder how it works, maybe there are a couple of analog output hall sensors inside.

I didn’t think to search the reviews for the guli pro controller. Input lag/delay was reported by a handful of reviews when I search the item listing, out of almost 400 reviews. That would drive me nuts.

Most of the King Kong Pro 2 issues seem to be firmware related, or, at least, GuliKit has been regularly releasing firmware updates to fix all of the listed issues. I don't think most of those problems are directly related to the analog sticks themselves.

I'm gonna be spending a lot of money on these if they work out. I have 8 joycons that have some semblance of drift and it makes playing in handheld a challenge regardless of my controllers, along with connection issues too. I pretty much reached my limit after 4 pairs and realized that buying more of them isn't the answer.

Well, break out your credit card. They work great!

No issues like someone posted earlier, eg reporting maximum value before stick is pushed all the way?
I took a look at that. It’s no different than my current old school sticks, but to be clear, I’m not a big FPS player so I don’t know precisely what to look for In order to get that perfect 360 no scope headshot or whatever the kids are doing these days…

e: been using mine all day today and frankly I forgot they were installed.

i mean you should not expect from them too much after all they are still in the same small and poor tendo joysticks factor and now you say that they are even feeling the same, so let's hope that they are rlly more durable becouse if not oh boy :X

Give me a bit, I’ve got an LED kit in my joycons and they are fiddly to say the least. Plus I have to find a spring I forgot to install last time. Nobody time me! It’s gonna be a little slow.
I like the fact that it came with the screws. The original ones are awful, the external ones are the worse but all of them suck, they strip easy despite the fact we need to put some torque to unscrew the thing.
