let me bug check it first, make sure things are running smooth. Probably going to start from a fresh clean build instead of my old on.

No. Sorry. I'm in agreement with what others have posted before. These are dev builds. If you cannot figure out how to compile it yourself, you should probably just wait on the release. If Cluster wanted unofficial versions posted, I'm sure he would set up a system for nightly builds.

Ok thank you! And yeah I was thinking of that too Im not really sure how update my current 2.11 version if I did. But if i started fresh all I would have to do is run the 2.12 build and dump/flash the fresh kernel on it?

It can also run games for other consoles. This pack already contains the following cores:

- fceumm NES / Famicom
- gambatte_libretro Game Boy, Game Boy Color
- genesis_plus_gx Sega - Game Gear, Master System, Sega CD, Mega Drive - Genesis

- snes9x2010 SNES / Super Famicom

How is the mapping for the Wii Classic Pro controllers with SNES games? Any issues?
Thanks
Grabbed a Wii Classic Pro off of Ebay for about $20 and also found a Wii Classic at a local Gamespot for about the same (so my daughter and I can play fighting games). I am so amazed how flawlessly the SNES and Genesis games run on this little thing. I forgot how gorgeous Yoshi's island was. Big thanks to the guys who made all this possible. I send a donation after the first Hakchi but I think another round might be in order! :)

I just copied my config (edited in the new lines), games and dump folder to the one I compiled. Updating should be that easy unless something major changes. If you want to start fresh, just copy over the dump folder and re-flash the original kernel.

Sweet that sounds easy enough, So I just got copy/move my dump folder in the fresh 2.12 build once its out and flash kernel. then it be like 30 games fresh? then I can add my games etc.

for those using the new compile build are you able add zips instead actual files to save space now of other system games? Cause before in 2.11 with the retroarch from PCM/Madmonkey Im using it doesn't allow zips for me when i tried synching

Long-time lurker, new NES Classic owner.

Few questions... I see that the NES classic has Game Genie support; is there a way to incorporate a set of common GG codes for the most popular (if not all) games? I see you can manual input, but was hoping for a database of sorts (maybe in a future release?) to automatically apply the GG cheat list per game.

When new builds come out, is there a tutorial of sorts to update without having to redo all the boxart/ROMs?

Also, a turbo toggle would be infinitely more useful than autofire! Not sure if such a flag even exists in the NESC emulator.

Hey all. Also long-time lurker.
So, I just built 2.12 off of the latest and greatest on the GitHub, and things seem to be going fine... kind of. Hackchi2 is running just fine, and interacting with my NES Classic just fine, except when I try and flash anything except for the stock kernel with the stock 30 games, the wee console is stuck in a bootloop. No image displayed, LED blinks through a cycle. I'm not really concerned, as I've already tested flashing the stock kernel back-- the little guy is fine. However I'm sad that I can't seem to install anything. Has anyone encountered this blinking light thing before? Any advice? I know my way around Visual Studio so I was happy to get 2.12 running, but now I've hit a bit of a roadblock.
Thanks all, bumps and all this sort of stuff is always fun

You are using a Mac? If yes put the hakchi2 folder in C:\ and flash again.

Are using Windows? flash original kernel first. then flash your hacked kernel, then the roms and its all done. working great now. Solution by VashTS
