Now that we can essentially load the entire NES library onto the Classic, is there an easy way to load/assign game covers to .nes files (ideally automatically, taking the 1st one on a Google search) instead of having to manually assign them for each game? For those who have uploaded 60+ games, did you all really hand pick the covers for those 600 games??? There must be an easier way.....

My #1 request at this point is that................#2 request is to have a way to customize the contents of folders instead of it just being x # of games per folder. Also would be nice to be able to name the folders.

You can go to file in the app and there's an option to download all images for the box art

Hi Guys, ive just tried 1789 roms and it wont allow me to upload them, states too many roms, so there is definitely an upper limit, this is using the google search on box art also, I'm doing a YT vid as we speak so will link to here when uploaded

I just know that even with 300 games I'd hardly play more than 100 at any time anyway, and shuffling new games on is super easy. Trying to have literally every rom is just silly to me, and I'm sure it's mainly just a precaution to put some kind of limit to avoid potentially bricking the NES Classic.

i had this problem I'm using a mac and parallels, when i moved my rom folder from the mac to windows desktop it created duplicate files inside the folder, the duplicate roms started with _rom name
i just deleted the duplicates, also zip roms didnt work for me i had to unzip them
i don't know where you got 1789, thats a lot the NA rom collection should only be about 679

yep they are zips, I did extract them all out to folders and then realised it supports zips! these are US/JPN/EU and a ton of hacked ones, 110 roms have worked

1789 roms, are you serious? What are you doing trying to upload a set with multiple dumps, that would be dumb.

There are very few duplicates in the list (admittedly there are some) but as I said this is the US/JPN/EU sets with some hacks also, I think its the zipped files it doesn't like(which some do contain variants of the same game) so I think that's the issue, zips are fine if they contain only the single rom
