Hey, Going to be picking up a WiiU tomorrow and just confirming what i've gleamed from many posts before diving in!

1) right now I can hack any WiiU 5.5.1 is the latest official version and exploitable right? I don't have to find a specific model to purchase?
2) I just throw the files onto an sd card, set dns to block certain hosts then load up http://loadiine.ovh/ twice and it's all done?
3) do I need to load the exploit via the website on every power up?
4) once the process is done can i just connect a usb drive with game files on?
5) does the above process also allow nintendont to be installed?

Thanks in advance.

3) yes
4) can't usb load games yet. they have to be on the sd card
5) nintendont can be installed by hacking the vwii which is a separate process

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Sd only. No usb for now.
5. Nintendont can be installed using any of the vWii exploit games eg. Smash brawl. This exploit doesn't affect vWii. Nintendont can be ran via a vWii exploit.

Edit: ninja'd. :×

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
