Hacking GUYS new exploit dropped for ps4 5.50 (Discussion)

Has anyone swapped out this webkit js with the old one and tested it on 4.55?

I was wondering that myself. I haven't hacked my 4.07 pro yet, or I would've tried it myself

Edit: tested it with HEN 1.4 vtx, and it worked second attempt as opposed to the usual 4-5 I normally have to try.

Edit2: swapped it out under all other apps (ftp, browser enabler, vr, blocker, etc) they mostly work first shot

theres no released kernel expoit for 5.x yet

Nope.

My console is 4.55, not budging until there is confirmed and released kernel and payloads ported for 5.50.

This makes success rate 99% for me instead of 20-25%.

Hopefully qwerty will release the old kexploit soon then. Anyone have the amount of time it took for the 4.55 kexploit to be released after that kexploit was announced as patched on the new OFW versions? Would be interesting to see.

It's a webkit exploit, but he also said that 5.50 patched a kexploit, so that might imply that 5.0x hacks will be released soon

Sounds like the scene is finally taking off now we have exploits for recent firmwares. I’m on 5.01 and it’s staying there.

asking because if it's only qwerty, then it might take much longer to release, like if there are more who hold a kexploit then the sooner we might see a release.

Thanks for this but : instead of concentrating his efforts on implementing the patched 5.05 kexploit, why did qwerty move to 5.50, and started rewriting the userland exploit (something that we already have)? and now I imagine he'll start looking for a new kexploit for fw 5.50?

whats wrong with you man! First I am sure he has lots of ps4's! The pic he posted is not 5.50... The reason he is cleaning the code for his webkit userland exploit is to make it more stable and userfriendly! He is working on fixing the code for k exploit and making it too more user friendly!
