Gaming Guitar hero world tour guitar ----> gh3?

Hey guys, i have a question about gh here. I know that the gh3 guitar can be used to play ghwt but... can ghwt guitar be used on gh3? cuz i want gh3 but if ghwt guitar works on it i think its better to buy ghwt then get gh3 but the game only so then i have both and play them with the same guitar!

Sounds like a good plan, the ghwt guitar can be used on GH3, it is fully compatible. You will not use the slider functionality in GH3. Whammy bar, strummer, and fret keys are the same. Good luck!

It should work but dont try to play rockband with it.

But the question is - can you find the GH3 game only? I don't see any stores selling the GH3 for the Wii as the game itself.

No. You would not be able to buy GH3 by itself as there was no other way to playe the game at launch. It didn't have guitar hero 1 or 2 guitars that would work.
