I'm trying to understand the way the on-tour grip connects to the GBA slot of the DS-lite for use as a controller. I think I'm not understanding something about this circuit, though, because AFAIK the pins attached to the read pins for the GBA slot will always read back as grounded, and the frets will either be open circuits (not pressed) or grounded (pressed). The frets are also on the address pins, and I'm not sure if those are readable to the console.
I've attached a diagram I made of the circuit. Regrettably, I do not know the resistor values. In the diagram I have separated the two halves of the circuit board, which are usually held together by spring-loaded pins + screws.
