I've never heard about that, but I could be wrong. Anyone else have any idea?

I have a question. My PS3 is a CECH 3001B model (the Uncharted 3 bundle one, I think the 320GB). Currently, it is on OFW 4.82. Would this guide work on my system?

No, 3000 models can't be hacked using this method.

i would support using this but the risk of a ban on my account is too great since a digital buyer only.

On Phat one with 4 USB ports (the backward compatible), which port to put USB in? Second from left or the utmost right port?

i have a nand ps3 and after running nand exploit it shuts down successfully and after that when i update CFW via usb at 73% it says Data is corrupted 8002f957
Edit : My mistake i was flashing Nand on a nor console, just because instead of back side i checked bottom for console model.

hey @cots can you add upgrading cfw also? I have two systems that have older cfw's on them, but can't remember what type, is it possible to move from 1 cfw to another? and how do I know if I had dex or cex versions installed?

I solved that problem using another hard drive. The hard drive i had was giving me trouble. It froze when SUCESS or it shuted down right after sucess not enabling the hack. I tried everything but the only thing that worked was changing the PS3 hard drive to another one.
Try and reply if you suceeded. Regards

In my case i only used the second hard drive to get the exploit do work (I had to format and install the 4.82 OFW again). After that i got the exploit to work properly, i placed the old hard drive again in the ps3 and no more 800xxxxxxxx error when instaling the CFW from usb storage at 70%.

Does anyone know if this works on CECH-C03 running 4.82 OFW?

    EDIT:

Nvm, I opened the NAND html and it says I can!
