Hacking [Guide] Install a9lh without buying anything in 11.2

This question has literally been asked twice within the past 2 pages. FFS

Get the arm9loaderhax.bin from the luma zip and place on root of sd card.

The luma zip wasn't even on the guide. Best place to get it?

And sorry for asking again, I was a bit desperate ,-, I hope you understand.

Yeah. It'll ask if you want to create a backup when you're ctrtransferring.

When you say try again, you mean re-entering the address and stuff until it randomly works, right? Just making sure so that I'm doing everything perfectly.

Follow the guide I linked and only do section 3 that I quoted, you need to use decrypt9wip as a payload.

@spospospo the proper guide for 9.2 transfer is here: https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer there's an additional step with godmode9 that is irrelevent in your case, as the 2.1 transfer I believe wiped any pre-existing tickets

After Luma3DS Config I get "Failed to mount CTRNAND."

Someone has asked the same question on page 3, but I couldn't find a answer to it, if there is any (I only searched all pages for "ctrnand").

i got a failed to mount ctrnand after i tryed to save after clicking the luma stuff

every time i turn on i'm getting that now... so now what do i do?

It was on the first zip. Instead of copying arm9.bin from SafeA9LHInstaller, people often copy both arm9.bin and arm9loaderhax.bin, which the latter removes Luma's one.

Hourglass is telling me I have no usable backups. I did backup though.

I think you're still on 2.1 right? Get back up to 11.2 [or 9.2 if you don't have a backup]

Get the arm9loaderhax.bin from this file and put it into your microSD root.

just wanted to say thankyou vary much for this guide and to anyone else who deservs credit to worked on my 2DS 11.2.35U no problems or glitches I have fbi through soundhax homebrew and used that to install freeshop no problem and can confirm freeshop is still working

ok im restoring my 11.2 nand so after that can i use the same fbi in my homebrew app with sound app to install fbi cia that way?

Wow, you were right. Just had to keep doing it! Maybe make that a little more clear in the OP that you just have to do it over and over.

Right, didn't see the "small print" xD (for some reason I just didnt notice it. Works like a charm and restoring 11.2 now.

BIG PROBLEM
I followed the guide untill step 9.I think it didnt make a nand back up because my sd was small(only 2 GB).
I continued to step 19 but it said it didnt find any files.So i updated again to 10.2 in order to use another sd and try the guide from the beggining but the 3ds doesnt open.
When i have the sd inside the blue light is on and when i remove it,it lights just one time.
Both screens are black...
Is it dead?

yes you can I did I have my homebrew through soundhax and fbi with homebrew worked perfect
