Hm I dont know how this work but, I downloaded a digital game as .3ds and it dont work on sky3ds, the values on template are different from the physicaly one. maybe thats why it dont worked for you?
You got your Rom from a digital game, right?

It was a physical dump from ahem. It's fine if the values are different but it writes the game as a nand. I'll upload the files shortly in this post. Gimme a few.

Yea, hopefully someone will update the sky3ds template soon for HHD. I just wanna play it (online doesn't matter)
Last question about injecting private headers haha.
If I get a physical copy, extract it using powersaves, the use No Ban No Sky, can I inject that PH into the entire template and be good to go? I know it has the option to do single roms or all.

Yes. You can use one private header to all your games. No problem
 
Hey guys. I just got Powersaves and got a game to extract private header. I used no ban no sky to inject it into my template. When I play the game, then quit, cycle through the roms, then put the sd card in my computer, I opened up HxD and my private header wasn't there? I don't understand why my save for the game with a new private header would have the public header on the sav file (this is a new sav file from a formatted sd card). Any input?

It is because your old save is still there (in sky3ds memory)
You must start a new game using your private header (just edit your save using HxD and restore it, then you will get a corrupted save. You will be able to start a new one using your private header succesfull)

No, I deleted my .sav and reformatted my sd card. I think I'm doing something wrong. So basically, I got the private header from Steel Diver...how to I inject that into my roms? I've followed guides but I am so confused with NoBanNoSky and SAK... :(
 
No I believe you on that, but my question is, that how do I correctly inject a private header? I don't care about my saves. I tried no ban no sky, but how do I check to see if my private header was successfully injected? I don't want to mess it up and get the ban hammer from nintendo again lol.

Right, open diskwriter and backup your save. Open this save on HxD and edit it, change something there, like, FF to 00.. that doesnt mater, just edit it and save.
Now restore this edited save to your game using diskwriter.
Before you insert your sky3ds in your 3ds, keeps the button pressed while you insert it. Remove the cart and insert again, the light will flash, when it stops remove and insert again, now the game will show up.
Load the game and you will see a message of a corrupt save. Just say yes and start a new game.
Now you have a private save, you can check it on HxD.

Every time you change something in your sky3ds (add games, change saves..) you must do that boring thing to put and remove the cart..
