@Sharpzz I googled and nothing about the game being incompatible it's a US O3dsxl using a US rom of shin megami tensei IV, I got two freezes in naraku, once during a convo and the other during a battle as in the game froze. Couldn't go into home had to hard reset.

@Misledz I don't think I did unless the card wasn't all the way in? It did have a blinking flashing light and wouldn't let me change roms then it worked fine.

Also always remember to press the button once you're done playing the game, not just to cycle, but to make sure your saves are saved properly. Just a FYI. If you already know it then just ignore it
And yes the blinking light means that the button was pressed, the light never lights up unless the button is pressed.

If it blinks fast and rapidly, just eject it after 5 seconds, then back in and it should load the list fine, it's probably like some list building thing going on. But this only happens when you remove the SD card to add new games.

If you doubt your SD card is original, you should do a test with it over here.

Download that and check your SD card. Don't believe everything you order online or read unless this can vouch for it.

Also, Rule of thumb, always use a Class 10 SDHC MMC. There is a massive difference in write/read with Class 4 to Class 10

Maybe it's because of my firmware being 8.1.0-11u and the latest update for sky is causing the problems? I am sorry for being illiterate here but I never used a flashcart before, only softmods (psp and wii)

If your firmware is 8.1 then don't update it. You still have a chance to use CIA games via Sky3DS with the help of CakeFW. You can do an emuNand for 10.1 but you'd have to research on that. Just don't update your 3DS.

im not even gonna update to 10.2 since all of the exploits are patched. (Ninjhax, BrowserHax/SliderHax, etc)
EDIT: I saw the fact that Sky3ds works with 10.2 on another website (3ds-flashcart) but confirmation hasn't been up on the official SKY3DS website

Sky is super slow with updates. Like really slow. It took them 15 days to update their last template. And legend of legacy was out a week ago. Also not all the exploits are patched. Just tube and themehax, he said browser was probably patched and everything else works. You may want to double check your facts, it's up for everyone to read on smealum twitter.

I updated today and Sky3ds is still working. I sent them a file to update the template for Zelda Triforce Heroes so hopefully it can be done before Friday. I wish i could downgrade so I could buy 4in1 DSTWO as it is coming out this month..

What the above guy said, the fact that you sent them the header info, I'm guessing that there are no 0x1FE flags present is there?

Use Psykos's CTR 1.8.4 it shows you if any AP flags are present

Okay it froze again (really frustrating) while I was playing pokemon AS, turns out I have a crap class 4 card so will be getting a class 10 as suggested, but I am kinda stumped on what brand works best with sky since kingston is not. If anyone can conform that these two work with sky would save me the time both are class 10.

Get the SanDisk, it's the best for gaming. Also you should have done a h2w test to check your card for legitimacy.

It's legit according to the test bought it offline at staples I never buy memory online. I'll be going with the sandisk I have two thumb drives that are sandisk and never had any problems with them.

When formatting the SD should I go with fat32 or just fat?

I want to buy a private header. Apprently i need more than one for different kids of games. one for C2 and AE. I search for topics and i cant find one.

so when using the private header inject in this guide do i have to do it with all my games or just the one. I was told i can use one header for all my games.
