ROM Hack GTA FIXED

Don't use Bomberman Touch ARM7. Find the European Bomberman 2 rom and split that using DSlazy for the ARM7. Copy that ARM7, open up GTA and add the Bomberman 2 (E) ARM7. Keep the new ARM9 from the new patch as well and it works

Hi,

I have applied the patch and the game is playing fine, but when I save the file is still showing as empty. I am using R4DS v1.18. I said no to autosave btw (have tried it either way).

Edit: Seems to work when using the original patch. Just the V2 one that is causing trouble.

I patched it and it also works just fine.

(I am using an M3DS Real with Sakura 1.12+1 Region Free)

I don't feel like reading through all the pages, but what is the easiest way to apply the savefix to a EZFlash 4?

There seems to be no way as of yet.

Hi ( noob here.)

I downloaded the patch,i patched the gta rom,opened it with dslazy and copy the patched arm9 .then i opend the untouched gta rom with dslazy and paste the patched arm9 and packed it again and put it on the ds to start..

The game starts but when the cops come in the airport and shoot after some seconds there is black screen and the game freezes.

what i do wrong? I use R4 1.18.

(Also have to say that i dowloaded a fix ready rom and didt work..again the same thing happens)

Readme:
Put your rom into dir, named as xpa-gtac.nds.

Run xpa-gtac.bat, it will generate a savefixed rom.

It still doesn't work on all carts! But it works on some such as R4, M3 real etc.

Alright. I'm new here. And I also own an R4.
I downloaded the file here in this quote, and put the rom in the directory and renamed it and such. I try to run the ROM on my R4 and I still can't get it to work. I ran the BAT file, and it just pulled me to a black screen. Another fixed file appeared on my R4. I ran it, and a white screen just pops up with nothing else. Someone please give me a detailed explanation instead of these unexplainable two sentence directions.. I feel slow today... please help a newbie out.

Hex Edited GTA DS for ARM9 Fix + Bomberman 2 (E) ARM7 Swap with DSLazy = Perfect in R4.
Works all, INCLUDING WIFI!

For flashcards that need also a ARM7 fix, Bomberman 2 is the solution.
Also, if you can't do the hex edit, you can use other ARM9 donor.

Wont work.. when i try to copy the arm 7 file from my bomberman 2 it comes out as "Copy of Arm 7 file" when i put it in my GTa rom

OK i have made these Bat files to patch the Game in 1 click making it a lot easier for people to do this.

what you need for this to work is the Patch so download it then just put my files in the same folder along with the nds file and pick what one you want done your original file will be in the folder Original and the patched one will be in the main folder.

Update: Add in the Arm7 + Arm9 fix now as you need a donor Arm7 so this one need two clicks (well one click and any button)

also for the Arm7 use Bomberman 2 EU version this is proven to work.

The wifi won't works at all.
Because if you play multiplayer with wifi against your friend or Co-Op.
Some game types will freeze direct or about 3 seconds or other games will freezes after 2 minutes.
Very strange. So i think we need a fix for this part of Wifi.

I have tested this with my friend his Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS of my sister.
Both they will freezes after a few seconds/minutes.

Only one time i got this message! i think at the 4.5 percentage of game, an when after 10 hours to play game, i got this message.

But now, im at the 15.6 percentage of game.

Edit: ofcourse after restart the game from begin!

Isn't online limited only for friend codes to do a messenger service while you are playing?

With the fixes above, i get friend code, i able to detect wifi connection for wifi setup, etc.. thing that cannot be done with other fixes.
