Hacking GTA (arm7 patched) action replay help

I have the Grand theft auto china town wars which i downloaded from a roms website and have patched it with the arms7 patch i cant seem to get the cheats menu on the R4 for it, but i had it befor i patched the game can some 1 please help me out and tell me what to do or where im going wrong. i am using Action Replay Code Manager and the cheat editor that came with the r4 on the disk

You have changed the GameID when you patched it. Find the new GameID with the editor and change the cheats GameID to match your ROM.

i used the DSLazy patcher and i dont know how to find the game ID could u suggest another patcher or tell me how to find it using the DSLazy application
