see jks post in the first page of this thread. There you have the update for atmosphere.

how do I get a hold of this to try it out. So pretty much you can overclock in in handheld outside of retoarch. I would like to try it out

M4xw have added a GPU overlock patch for atmosphere for his patreon supporters: https://www.patreon.com/user/posts?u=16304824

Cant wait for the final release! Imagine running doom and wolfenstein in almost 720p on the go using the docked GPU frequency :) Should be totally safe (as long as you dont go over 768mhz) but will probably eat up a lot of battery power. However, many of us carry large powerbanks so it should totally be worth it!

Update: I have added posts comparing the resolution in wolfenstein in stock clocks, 460 mhz and 768 mhz OC in this thread. More tests will be conducted the following days.
Good work!
Can you also enable FPS in Game?

Thanks!

how do you get it to work. I follow these directions Holding ZL and clicking down the left stick activates it. ZL + Right stick returns it to whatever it was before. If you want to be 100% sure it's working ZR + Left stick will output a file to sdmc:/clock.txt
but i can produce the txt file. have to hold ZL and click down on the left stick while starting the game

You can also do it during gameplay, just press ZL and down on left stick and in a sec the difference is obvious (in xenoblade 2 there is a more stable FPS in some areas). Switch to default stock and you can notice the differences.

When you have started a game hold ZL and press the left stick to activate it. Check the txt file or use a demanding game to know if it working for you. In wolfenstein it is really noticeable. If it is not working you might have put the update in the wrong folder.

Thanks for your great work with the mod!

But where I can find download link of the mod with 460 MHz GPU settings? JK_ file has only 768 MHz. :(

Yeah, lots of thanks to m4xw and JK for their work with the mods!!!

Join M4xws patreon for one dollar per month and download it there. It is behind a paywall.

WOW! Just WOW! I tried the overclocks and I got almost 60fps all the time in Tales of Vasperia, even on the map. Also, the switch hardly get any warmer, just a tiny bit more. This is much needed and I play it in handheld.
This is probably how the game should be played!

This is amazing.

Is the resolution also better in xc2? That's by far the biggest problem when played in portable

Is this for patreon only? Just asking, no insult please
For now, yes. But m4xw plans on releasing a homebrew that allows you change the clock speed without restarting your system

The max resolution is still 540p or whatever, but with 460mhz there's no longer huge drops down to 360p
