Nintendo's Online service launched last week for Switch, and we would like to know how many of you have signed up!

No, at least not yet, I haven't even tried the 7 day trial yet.
I don't feel like paying for a service that I won't be able to enjoy to its full potential because of my horrible internet connection speed, but I'll try it one day once I find a 1 year NSO prepaid card on the wild

And... am I the only one that's on latest FW and his switch is still a virgin homebrew-wise because has no interest on homebrewing it yet? Yes? Ok...

I paid big money for Splatoon 2 and I'm not dashing out additional 20$ for the Nintendo Online unless they start to actually work on the online experience.

you should realize that this minimum entrance barrier ought to keep out at least the players too poor to afford stable internet or a good wifi router.
so they are working on the online experience.

pretty sure they all are requiring paid service for using their server

No, and normally I wouldn't buy it at all as there are no online multiplayer games that interest me on the platform, but since my better half is a huge Pokemon fan I'll probably cave in once Let's Go/Pokemon 2019 are released. To be fair, it's surprisingly affordable.

No, Im not interested too much in online play and the pitiful games currently included and half a***ed cloud saves aren’t enough.

Maybe if they improve the selection or I see it on offer, I might consider it.

I wouldn't mind Switch online if they made it so there were free online servers and premium, subscription-only online servers with faster speeds. I'd pay more than $20/year for good servers.

I'm afraid you can't have that - net neutrality and all. God forbid people were to buy preferential access to services, am I right?

i don't have a switch, but i don't see why everyone is upset, yes, its basically the same as what we had for free, but was stated BEFORE THE SYSTEM CAME OUT that payed online was always the plan, and the free period was A BETA (of sorts). And its only $20 A YEAR, which brakes down to less than $2 A MONTH.

so i'm gonna get it once i get a switch and a online game.

Oh, and PS, you only need to pay if its a payed game, fortinte and any other F2P games don't require switch online ( as far as i can tell, as i don't have a switch)

You'll also need it for cloud saving, and a few other items. Not necessary, let alone relevant for most people here. As the general consensus seems to be "Muh piracyyyyy"... Or "**** Nintendo" .. Either way..
