Last night, I got another Wii, since I realized I've been missing out on a lot of good games. I got The Conduit, started campaign mode, and played one multiplayer match. I'm loving the story mode, but online...It's decent, and it's fun, but it's very fast-paced IMO. Overall, I'd give it a 7.75/10. I really like the HUD placement option as well (I've been wanting this in an FPS game, since I can focus on certain parts of the screen better).

Anyway, I pre-ordered NSMB Wii last night, and I'm going to pay it off later tonight. The game looks amazing, but still looks kind of gimmicky. What I mean by that is, the new power-ups are cool, but weren't needed to make a great platformer. Also, the co-op mode looks a little crappy in my opinion (I hate how you have so little room to move around in some levels, and that you can pretty much "kill" your partners).

Finally, I'm planning on getting CoD:MW Reflex and Mario Kart Wii for Christmas, and 4000 Wii Points. I'll be able to get maybe 2 more games for Christmas (With money from relatives not in my immediate family), and I need some suggestions. I have this list made up of possible games I'll get:

Wii Sports Resort
Rock Band 2 (Full set, or just drums/game, since I'm better at drums than anything else, and it's more fun to me)

I know, it's only 2 games, but that's why I need the tempers' help to think of some games. I like Action/Adventure, Puzzle (Not like Sudoku or Crosswords, but innovative and creative puzzle games), Racing, Strategy, RPG (Action RPGs, and turn-based, but that's it), Platformer, Fighting, and Shooting games (First-person, third-person, and a little bit of side-scrolling/shmup style games). List away!

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
