Google Play hit the news today, framed as a total revamp of Google's media outlets. But the new name won't change the way you interact on your phone substantially. If you own an Android device, you're undoubtedly familiar with Google Music, Google Books, and possibly even Google Movies (although the movie-rental service debuted last year with a lot less fanfare than other Google properties have). Well, now with Google Play on your Android device you'll be able to access all that information as Google Play—Google Play Music, Google Play Books, and so forth. Yeah, they just added a “Play” in there.
I was wondering why Market wasn't working. Very odd, though. Thoughts?
