so i just got a ps2, after never owning one
its unmodded, and i really dont know much about the modchips... from what i read dms4 and matrix infinity are supposed to be good chips, but i cant find anywhere that has them in the US or will ship to the US....

anyone know how i can get my hands on a good ps2 modchip for a reasonable price in the US?

    thanks

i think you want to mod your ps2 so you can play backup or import games right? If so look for swap magic it is a disks which lets you use backup games and imports there is a pretty big topic about it in this forum i believe

memor32 costs a little more, but it's a solderless solution for modding your ps2

    yeah

swap magic is a major pain in the ass

i dont mind soldering, as i've modded plenty of ps1s, xboxs, and wiis.

and the memor32 looks really good but for $70+ its pretty expensive

is the modbo 4 any good?
