Gaming Good Mech Games for NDS?

Hello I recently got into the mech anime scene, like Code Geass and Gundam, and I was wondering if you guys could suggest some good mech style games that are decent for the NDS.

Please do not suggest Super Robot Taisen OG saga I really don't like that game so please don't suggest it.

i have lots of different suggestions if you are in the anime kind of mech.
1. Super Robot Wars W & K
2. SD Gundam G Generation DS & Cross Drive
3. Kidou Senshi Gundam 00

mainly these are strategy mech games
except for kidou senshi gundam 00
thats a....how can i say it ?
hmmm think of Another Century episode. you control a gundam and execute your mission

if you go for the buckwild crazy animations choose Super Robot Wars W or and K
if you go for just plain strategy and lots of gundams. choose SD Gundam G Generation DS or and Cross Drive
if you just love to pilot a gundam and smash everything up choose gundam 00

But Gundam 00 is not bad, but felt kinda plain. As far as I know/remember you can only control the original gundams from season 1.

Still, good for mech lovers.

And of course, the SRW series.

Edit: Not only do you control only the 4/5 gundams, your opponents are also always flags, enacts, tieren and ships and jets. Nothing much exciting. Maybe the boss fights are a little harder.

hey, Megaman is not a mecha. but it really great for me.
oh yeah, try Super Robot Taisen Saga. U may like it.

I'm shocked NOONE EVER mentions Front Mission. It's a SRPG with customizable mechs, and it's much better than the Super Robot series, IMO.

Hmm front mission sounds like fun if you can customize your mechs.

And also Megaman isn't a mech...

Damn, I was going to mention it. You beat me to it. But yeah, I would highly recommend it. One of the best SRPGs that I've ever played.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is another pretty good mech game. a lot of japanese story you have to skip through, but great if you're a fan of the anime.

supe robot arena and gundam 00 is the only two mecha action game i can think of, if you have psp there's more gundam (gundam vs gundam, gundam battle universe, macrosss)
