Goldleaf - A Nintendo Switch multipurpose homebrew tool

Goldleaf

Goldleaf is a multipurpose homebrew tool for Nintendo Switch!

Goldleaf.1.jpg

Similar to the well-known 3DS homebrew FBI, Goldleaf serves as a file browser/manager/editor, title manager, user account manager... and more!

Let Goldleaf make your life easier while dealing with more or less technical Nintendo Switch stuff!

Hi, I have reported that but no one cares... I think goldleaf is dead.
It isn't dead i would say. XorTroll always disappears into oblivion for what feels like months and thus fails to adapt its stuff to current (custom) firmwares, which can be quite annoying. If I need an installer and Goldleaf doesn't work with the current FW for weeks, I switch to alternatives. Goldleaf may have been so great. But it feels like that he has the problem that he always starts 100 projects at the same time, doesn't test everything enough or doesn't follow the user feedback about bugs seriously enough after release and that he doesn't update his stuff for ages to keep up with new (C)FWs.

I think it's something like that, I saw many times that their update releases coincided with a new firmware update and that must be bullshit.
sucks, especially when there are updates with such short periods of time (it's happened a couple of times that the updates are one after the other)
Well, let's be honest, maintaining this is a voluntary act, and I really appreciate it, especially since no one pays (including me) for the time you have to put into it.
I don't want my comment to sound like a complaint, quite the contrary.

Hello, I have some problems installing multiple NSP at once using the latest stable release.
I'm trying to install a folder with 90GB on NPS inside, but it says
Error: 2356-0001
Module: GoldLeaf (356)
No enough space on storage
While I have more than 400GB free of space.
I can install them 1 per 1 just fine, but not all at once.
And yes, I tried of course to install on the SD card, not internal memory.

Any ideas?

Its safe to say that Goldleaf is dead so you should consider moving onto another & more updated title installer such as TinWoo Installer.

Is there a way to set up a starting directory? I only access SD contents inside "Switch" directory, and I'd like Goldfoil to start directly there, instead of always move them manually.
Is it possible? Thanks.
Too bad I can't find informations about the settings file, the example one on github page is not clear enough.

Are you being for real, cause that's hard to believe, DK is Nintendo and made in japan, Sea of thieves was from Microsoft, in America. I'm not calling you a liar, just didn't know.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
