yes I did get to the cutscene where Reif(?) is like looking at this icy tower thingy, and then all of them are talking, but i didn't know what to do after that

^ Ah, in that case, you have to enter the building that is just before you go towards that mountaintop (as in the first building that you can enter after coming down from the top). That should trigger a cutscene.

nvm got the flute. Does anyone know what that cave is thats near the mountainous village on your way up, thats after u get out of the passage?

^ That nabs you a new summon, except you'll need Frost for the puzzle; something you won't get until later. Don't worry, you'll have to go back to the mountainous village later anyways.

I'm stuck in this water town. I've defeated a boss or something and got a red crystal but what am I supposed to do now?

There should be a place where you can drain a bowl of water (most likely inside an alchemy generator). The red crystal (when equipped to a Mars Adept) enables you to use a new Psynergy to accomplish that.

...Leave the temple. Ought to trigger a cutscene with the old guy.

Use Fireball on the Torches on the left and right (doesn't matter which order), use Douse on the bowl, then use Whirlwind on the Windmill. After that, go back down the ladder and use Stella's "Follow Scent" ability. Follow the path.

Sorry, I can't seem to remember what to do after that point. I only really remember things that were hard for me. Sorry man. Alternatively, you could just wait until the English version gets dumped in just a few short weeks.

Does anyone know what to do after you place the mask in the mountainous village place, and all the walls and pillars go up and stuff(got the Mars djinn too)

^ Try going up the mountain? I don't remember exactly anymore, but the mountain is definitely a place you'll have to visit in order to proceed with the story.
