As of today I got my ps3 downgraded and subsequently updated to Rebug 4.80.
From what I understand since 4.80 is the newest firmware out, I do not require a spoofer to go online.
As a newb to the ps3 cfw scene I ask: what do I need to go online (without getting myself banned of course)?
Do I need psn patch? What else?
And anything I should look out for?
I don't really play online games, it's primarily to enter the store and remain connected to the internet.

Thank you to all who answer.

All i can say is i never use them, I just update the rebug cfw

edit, i do use the psnpatch programme for installing .rap files for the free psn stuff, sorry forgot to mention that.

I'm using PSNpatch to disable cfw syscalls every time I acess PSN.

I'm worried rebug Toolbox and MultiMan aren't [Stealth], if I don't run them when on PSN does stealth matter?
