The biggest joke would be if someone competent actually made a browser, named it Gnirfleo, and released it, claiming it was the original thing.

Everyone would claim it was a fake through sheer inertia, of course, but once it's found out it works, oh boy, the quotes of "experts" claiming they "had known", "from the start", it was a fake would keep the rest of the Intrawebs giggling for a year.
