personally i wouldn't run a rom found through a google search. while the bricker never made it over it is possible someone has it offered as a rom you could end up downloading. you could always use dslazy tho to scan for the bricker, assuming a modified version isn't being passed around. i still believe that if you don't have a reliable source to get your games from you shouldn't be into this hobby.

now with that said, this shouldn't scare you but you should be aware that it exists. try spending a day downloading files from the gbatemp download center. there is a vast amount of homebrew games and applications you can easily get lost in.
