getting ipood touch... help with apps

Need some help finding some free apps for the iPoo'd touch that will make it worth the $230 price tag...

I have wifi, so any internet related apps, fun apps, and stuff like that...

My wife does online schooling, so anything that can do word documents, copy pasting from safari to a word processor, stuff like that.

anyone with an iphone/ipoo'd touch that knows of any of these apps, please help me find some!

looking for free apps, not wanting to pay for anything...

jailbreak..... if you jailbreak there are a few more 'special' apps such as document readers etc that are missing from appstore
