Gaming Getting homebrew to run on PSP

my Directory:

so... it seems as though im missing quite a bit. can you remove your roms, saves and anything you need, zip it up and upload it somewhere?
EDIT: I redownloaded it from the homepage (i think)and even the H/Page didnt have the rest of the files.

ok heres mine MINUS the roms

you will need to use winrar to unpack it ..

unpack copy it into your PSP\GAME folder once you have unpacked the rar file...

then copy your roms into the rom folder you can leave them in the zip files

I managed to get KLAX and CENTIPEDE working fine

read the instructions for KEYS to play and make the screen bigger add coins etc!

well, i just found another problem that has nothing to do with homebrew, solve it if you want.

In the system settings, there is no option to enable flash. now im wondering, do you need to connect to the net first then you can enable flash because i havent connected to internet yet. i dont have wireless.
EDIT: WHAT! MAME comes up with a game could not be started error. 80020148 to be precise. whan i click select on the menu, the list is:
CPU CLOCK XMB - Default
CPU CLOCK GAME - Default
USB DEVICE - Memory Stick
UMD ISO MODE - M33 driver
ISO VIDEO MOUNT - NONE
RESET DEVICE
EXIT

Now what?!?!

firstly restart the PSP and hold R shoulder button to enter recovery mode skip through the options to find where it says ENABLE FLASH and ENABLE WMA under registery or something like that!?

ok problem solved

the menu that comes up pressing select at default psp XMB (MENU) is the FSH custom menu for the psp for stuff like umdmode, psp cpu speed etc etc

those are options for the PSP and nothing to do with MAME

if a game fails in MAME then no doubt its a bad set of roms with files missing!

redownload the pack from the link again ... I changed it I forgot to add the README/GAMESLIST doh!!

look in the games list and see if its listed if its not then it probably does not work!

I doubt ALL mame games will work on the PSP look in the games list if its there it will work if its not then it might work it might not

several are listed maby you need to try redownload one of the packs remember to leave them in their original named zip file eg

don't unzip them just copy the whole zip across

if it still does not work then you have missing or incomplete game zips!

try googling and finding them again

if its not listed in the compatible games then its doubtful it will work!

you may also have an incomplete rom pack suggest try another download but don't ask me where to get one!

well, it worked on marca DS and i read in the readme that you need to do some converting thing anyway, point is, it works on marca, so maybe i need to convert it?
