Hacking Getting error "failed to write placeholder" in Tinfoil when I try to download Smash DLC

After googling around, I don't think my SD card is the issue, because I can install other games and dlc fine in Tinfoil, it's JUST SMASH ULTIMATE DLC that is the problem.


I think there might be some clash since I used my brother's account to install the 2nd pass from the eshop, but I wanted to install a version from Tinfoil instead.


Now, no DLC or updates for Smash can be downloaded.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue please?

Solved it, Tinfoil was actually trying re-download the entire game instead of the DLC I selected in the install list.


Which brings me to my next question: How do you install DLC in Tinfoil that is NOT in the New DLC list?
