I have had diverticulitis a few times in the past. Luckily, mine were all caught before it got too serious and were able to be treated with IV antibiotics. Best of luck on your recovery. Stay strong.

No way! Yesterday I finally ran out of things to do on ModMii and found myself super bored and I just lay in bed. My next update is just waiting on one (or 2) more deliverables from others and I'll push my huge update and sit back and relax. Doing good, thanks for asking! I still have my colostomy bag and a small wound that hasn't healed yet so is bandaged/leaking, but I'm exactly where I should be in the recovery process. I should learn more about any other issues after they take a deeeeep look in about a month or so for now

In any case, we'll enough to return to work, my 1st day back is tomorrow, but aftrler that will probably be working remotely the majority of the time for the next little while.

Hey y'all, I got some good news, from the preliminary results from my colonoscopy earlier today, it looks like nothing else was damaged when the mass exploded on me, so I shouldn't need any more serious surgery, just a relatively minor one to remove my colostomy bag, and some healthier lifestyle changes.

I can't wait to have a nice long normal poop again, lol, sorry for the tmi but corny jokes are kinda my schtick
