Should i get myself a 3DS or wait for the "revamp version" or wait for the Playstation Vita, 3ds don't have that many good titles yet i believe and the playstation vita will get Bioshock! (and few more interesting titles) while the 3DS do have a huge list of upcoming good game's that will see the light someday.

So.... hmmm.... what do you guys think :/

I bet it does, but that's something I don't know about since I haven't been active on the forum for the whole summer.

EDIT: Also I loved the graphic on the 3ds i tried from a friend (street fighter) then i turned on the 3d... sure it was cool with the 3d but then the graphic suddenly was like a snes, all pixilated and frame rate drop.

Personally it's up to the games you like. Vita will get damn lots of 3rd parties and also provide very good control options (especially for FPSes). 3DS you have a noticeable number of 3rd parties coming up and also your malleo.

You do not need ultimate power, ultimate graphics and stereoscopic 3D in gaming though. To me what matters most is the games you like.

EDIT: Later on some games on the 3DS (like Tekken) will have equal framerate as the 2D counterparts. In 3D the resolution is also sliced to 400 X 240. 2D-only games may also be developed for the 3DS. I don't need to add on to Vita though, it's awesome as it is.

Playstation Vita.
It looks awesome and has alot to offer.
Its even more powerful than a ps3.

But what am I saying, this is a website filled with ignorant ninty fanboys....
Any source to back you up on it being more powerful than a PS3?

@CrimzonEyed: I'd recommend looking at the games you'd like to play and from there on decide what you want.

Well I'm a BIG Bioshock fanboy so just because PSV get it I have hard time to restrain myself from pre-order PSV.

PSV titles that I look forward to:
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Dragon's Crown
Gravity Daze
Ruin
Bioshock Infinite
Silent Hill
Killzone
assassins creed

(probably forgot a few)

3DS titles I wan't/lookforward to:
Super Mario 3D Land
Resident Evil: Revelations
Mariokart 7
Tales of the Abyss
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3DS
Shinobi
Metal Gear Solid
Paper Mario 3ds
(probably forgot a few here as well)

So yea best would be to get both systems.... If i only could find a full time job XD

Just to tell ya, Vita will get the MGS HD collection (I don't know whether it'll be priced like a 'Legendary Edition' or $39 though).

And you appear to like a lot of Nintendo first parties...

Prepare to get flamed for that...just saying.

If you have a chance, get both. Buy the one you think you'll like more, then save up for the other. I bought my 3DS at launch and love it. I have a feeling I'll love the Vita. So I'm gonna buy it at launch too.

You're about to get flared... LOL.

Anyway, I find both systems equally nice. But looking at your gaming selections I personally think the 3DS would suit you better (more categories, malleos)

Oh and if you're worried about no dual analog, most 3DS games have great auto camera control, plus you have the lower touchscreen.

None until there are better games out there at first. Be wise with your money and wait. If you are in hurry then I cannot help you with that. For me, I will wait and focus on my Wii/PS3/ and some PSP games that I haven't finished yet. No hurry and money wise!

Personally I suggest you get an iDevice. You're going to find much more engrossing and innovative yet enjoyable than the 3DS and PSV combined.
I second this.
Once I got my iPhone, it was like a whole new world of gaming was unlocked. Vast amount of games for such a low, low price.

I think I wouldn't be playing games at all if I didn't get my iPhone.

This is my opinion:
3DS: good 1st party titles, mostly for fun and not very hardcore gamers
Vita: great 3rd party, mainly for mature and hardcore audience.
You seem to like 1st parties. I'd get the 3ds.

I already have an Android... And i hate playing without any buttons to press.... The only games that i think work good playing on touch screen are games like fruit ninja, point and click and rpg games emulated

I'd say wait for the PSV, it is looking like a much better console.

However, the best option would be to wait a little while longer, to see how the 3DS/Whatever the revamp may be and the PSV pan out in the longer run.

Both consoles rely on gimmicks to get your attention, so I guess it comes down to what you want.

If you want optional-eye strain, go with the 3DS.
If you want to grope your handheld like a date grape victim, get a Vita.

Personally I think the 3DS has a better software line up than the Vita, but I'm not a graphics whore.

Eye strains only apply to some people, blah blah blah.

I wouldn't get either console right now. Wait until the holiday season and get a 3DS bundle with some games.
