i don t know if it s because of softmii, but it still don t work for me both with gator's or wanin's

Bebs, make sure you hit X and then A when you installed the MIOS thing. And also, when you load the game, hold the B button. I did this and I'm playing Super Mario Sunshine (PAL) on my NTSC-USA wii.

what X and A...?? first off there is no X on the Wiimote, and Waninkoko's intaller only ask you if you want to install Wi-Fi or WAD, that's it, no X nor A nor B...!!!

Did you tryed the Launcher, Gamma or any other..??

I advise wanikokos loader. It's simple and straight forward. otherwise you can use wiigators and before installing wiigators make sure you press x once before installing the patched mios.

I think he means Hit X on the GC controller while in the Mios Patcher this changes the settings to allow the backups to be played through the disc channel, Atleast this is what i did to get it working

Listen... I'll help you out.
Put these two files into your apps folder:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/pzm5wb
Run the miospatcher through the homebrew browser.
Plug in your gamecube controller. (P1)
On the gamecube controller, press the X button, then the A button. This will enable the backup loader thing...(I forget exactly what it said), and the A button will install the mios. Now run the GC Backup Launcher. Press the button that corresponds with the selection you want, and hold the B button as soon as you choose it.
Hold the B button on your gamecube controller until the game boots up.
Now you're done.
=)

we want to start from disc channel not from the gc launcer

gc launcer is working for me but the original disc channel let reboot my wii

when i click on start

mrkinator says its works for him

It's working for me though. I booted Super Mario Sunshine from the disk channel. It started up the gamecube loader when I clicked start from my disk channel, then I pressed Auto... I think A button, then held B and now I'm playing Sunshine.
8 Shine Sprites now =3
2 more shine sprites till Pinna Park.
Woot!

This happned to me too, after I installed MIOS 5. I reinstalled and chose 8 instead, and now it works for the disc channel.

Okay guys. I'm on a NTSC-U Wii with SoftMii.

FZero (NTSC) runs great, I just choose NTSC from the boot menu. Luigi's Mansion (PAL) loses its video feed. I can hear it, and it responds to the gamecube pad, but there is no video feed. I have tried holding down b, after selecting every option, it is always the same... Are certain PAL games incabable of displaying on an NTSC screen?
