Hacking GC Backup Launcher Support

I think I found what was going on when you press B (patched MIOS) and you only get audio (no video). My guess is that it was a conflict with preloader's region free GC games hack. Just disable it and you're good to go. :]

I thought it's widely known that the starfall gc region free hacks only cause trouble. Why did you expect it to be different with the preloader ones?

How'd linkinworm get the addresses? I've been wanting to try and debug 007 Nightfire but I haven't been able to find anything to do it.

I'm too cheap to buy a USBGecko, there has to be homebrew methods.

i'm having a problem with the gc launcher 0.1Xi.
i have a 3.2e softmoded wii, and i followed this guy's tutorial [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDWV8DAk6jw] to install the launcher

i'm trying to run skies of arcadia legends, i start the launcher, press the b button for patch mios, the screan goes green ofr a minute and then the wii reboots

help...

My wii is 3.2U, downgraded from 3.3U, and i'm currently playing wii backups through 0.3gamma, starfall with no GC region free hack... Can i install the GC loader normally and use both the GC and the Wii loader, or do i have to do something else since i already have the wii loader? And if it's ok for me to do it all normally and use both, can i just follow this tutorial? -> http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=134631

Follow the guide and you're fine, and yes you can use them at the same time

also, should i install softmii?
If you want to load backups from the disc channel and have preloader (and gc loading is included)

Hey guys, does anyone know if there is something in the works to fix "an error has occured..." problem?

Trying to play Midway Arcade Treasure 3, doesn't matter what button I press, it gives me that message, but if I press Start button at the gamecube loader screen, it actually goes one step further and takes me to the game selection menu and then after I pick a game and press (A) to start a game it gives me the same message

The old saves were broken.

Xi is like HBCb9 or above. Broken saves (ELFs) won't work on them.

Just restart or whatever.
