Hi Gericom, for starters thank you (and everybody who also contributed to the construction of this amazing homebrew and its growth throughout the years) very much for creating what just a few days ago was only a dream that in 12 years of owning a NDS Lite I've always wanted to see fulfilled but actually never could. Or at least until now. Anyway, what I wanted to talk to you was about something else... it's something that maybe you would not see it right away as a problem, and probably it is not but it's still something, in my opinion, annoying to see (but as long as they continue to function properly and don't cause any problem to a normal gameplay I'm still fine with that). I'm talking about the dates of the save data (the .sav file) which as soon as it is being created by the homebrew it registers this as a preconfigured date (31/12/2017 23:00 on my pc and strangely 01/01/2018 00:00 on my ds, an hour later than my pc counts) and no matter how many saves i make they still remain the same dates all the time. Because of that I wouldn't want to see my save date become corrupted from a boot to another, maybe we won't come to that but I don't know... if you could please clarify why this occurs to me it would be very much appreciated! Thank you again for the awesome project you managed to create. Keep on making it more and more great!

P.S. : I'm using a NDS Lite with DSTT using YSMenu version 7.06 (latest firmware afaik)

I never looked at this myself but yeah this is the case. I wouldn't worry about it corrupting anything though since I've never had it happen to me nor have I heard it happen. It's an interesting thing that I wasn't aware of, however.

As I said I don't think it's gonna come to that, it just bothers me that the dates are not up to date as it registers them to i believe a default date and apparently nothing more than that.

Anyway I can upload the links to show the dates if needed

The explanation is simple. Back when I implemented the file system things I had not implemented any rtc (clock) stuff yet. As such the date is hardcoded. I should fix that actually. Thanks for reminding me.

Well, thanks for the clarification, i guessed it was not something game-breaking but still a little annoying to see nonetheless. I'll wait for it to get fixed no problem.

No, that's fine you don't need to.
Mine was also an excuse to let you all see my nier automata-themed ysmenu skin i made yesterday, something i'm a little bit proud of to be honest :creep:

Hello everybody.
i got a problem with gbarunner2 v20190911-201047_371815e, i want to use this version to play pokemon emerald but when try to load gbarunner2 on my ds lite its stuck at gbarunner2 screen, not showing any folders. when i use the newest gbarunner2 files i get folders shown and games start normally, but not pokemon emerald.
is there maybe a newer rom3m build or something. i cant get this to work. been trying it for hours with different versions of gba runner.
thank you very much :) and have a great day everybody

Is possible to reset for go back to the Twilight menu?
No, you have to reset the system right now.

Hmm that is weird. Which flashcart are you using? Did you try both the arm7 dldi and arm9 dldi version?

I'm using the m3 ds real card, with ysmenu software booting directly to twilightmenu (neweset version).
i also tried both the arm7 and arm9 version. the "normal" version work fine. just the rom3m build, the one i need to get pokemeon emerald to work, does not work :(. when i start the rom3m build i dont see any folders, but i see the seetings icon on the right corner. it seems to be stuck or something. no controls are working. cant go to settings or anything.
on the newest build everythings working fine (except pokemon emerald of corse)

I see. How are you booting into the rom3m build? Did you replace the gbarunner2 found in _nds or are you just running it from the file select. You might want to try running the rom3m build from ysmenu to see if it works to rule out if there are any settings you need to change in twlmenu++. There's an option for DLDI in twilightmenu++ settings for gbarunner2 that you might need to change according to which arm version you're using. Also I'm not sure if vram boost is available on the base DS version but if it is then make sure it's turned off.

How many roms do you have in that folder? The limit of subfolders plus roms in a folder for gbarunner2 is 64 iirc. Try to make a folder called GBA in root and put pkmn emerald in there.
