Q) Do GBA backups work? How do I get GBA backups working?
A) You cannot get GBA backups working with only the R4/M3s device, infact there is no current slot1 solution that allows this to happen. However, if you have the EZV Expansion pack you can run GBA backups in this slot2 device. More information at this thread

Normal GBA games use the frame, rather then just having a black boader
