Yes. First load the save file, then load the gba rom.can anybody use save games?
Last I checked, the save file was automatically loaded when the ROM was loaded so long as they have the same filename sans extension.Yes. First load the save file, then load the gba rom.

Is there any ready-to-use pre-packaged download available? The source link looks messy and I don't know what all I need to download. (Compiling is not an option for me)
Sadly enough the last commit was five months ago.
Tried to compile but, Mavericks screwed up my devkit ARM install, I post the compiled build If I fix it (or get 10.6 back in a vm.)
These are the best versions
alpha 1 fix 1 most compatibility ( http://www.mediafire.com/?81kchamv5848598 )
Alpha 2 fix 4 Great(almost perfect)Compatibility, and SOUND! (http://ichfly.github.io/gbaemu4DS/meta.html)
Last Working DSi Mode Build: ( http://www.mediafire.com/?2qb4gqs191fo414)
Good Luck!
It should automatically load if it has the same filename as the ROM, and if not you can select it separately before loading the ROM.hi guys i am steve, can you tell me how to load a saved gamea saved game?
Is this a full and working emulator now? and if it is, can someone tell me what gba games work on this emulator? I tried Super mario world and it didn't work, then I tried castlevania harmony of dissonance and it turned on but all the pixels were messed up so it didn't work very efficiently. Thanks!
There's a compatibility list in the OP. I wouldn't consider it complete, more of it's the best you're going to get on the DS/DSL without a DSTwo flashcart, maybe even on the DSi (I haven't messed with a DSi mode flashcart nor really even a DSi that much). It's easy to set up, so just give it a try. If you don't like it, then just uninstall it.
Yeah I just purchased a ez flash 3 in 1 but I was trying it unsuccessfully with my r4 on my 3ds and the games just kept freezing or weren't looking right or anything :[
Which version were you trying? The "latest version" is horribly broken, and older versions work much better. In fact, for at least one game it works better than PC emulators.Yeah I just purchased a ez flash 3 in 1 but I was trying it unsuccessfully with my r4 on my 3ds and the games just kept freezing or weren't looking right or anything :[
I'm using the build that was posted on the first page of this topic (very first post)I just carry around a Game Boy micro with an EZ4 in it. That suits my GBA needs just fine.
The OP links to Alpha2 Fix4, a version that works reasonably well but not the best.I'm using the build that was posted on the first page of this topic (very first post)
Man, there's not much hope for this.Hi, I have a problem. I'm using r4 card, ds lite and r4 wood firmware, and newest emulator version.
When I choose the game and then set all settings, one screen goes
CPU load ROM ... Generating file map (size 2622152 byte) ok
CPU init
CPU reset
CPU read battery life ... OK
Bios _register ram reset
DMA copy
Arm7init
Irqinit
Emulateedbiosstart
Ndsmode
GBA init
Gbamode 2
Jump to (02134000
And the second screen is white.
Any help??
