ROM Hack GBA VC Patched Pokemon Games not saving

I got a copy of Pokemon Emerald from the other site that is supposed to be patched to save correctly, it boots and plays fine but whenever I close it I lose my save file.

No error message or anything when you boot it back up, acts like it's the first time you loaded the game.

I asked for help on the download thread with no luck, no one else was complaining of issues so it must be something I'm doing wrong right?

Running rxTools 3.0 with PASTA, on sysNAND 4.2 with 10.2 emuNAND Unlinked.

hi - sorry I don't have an answer for your question but I have a question of my own if you don't mind - how does one go about getting a GBA VC game to work on 3DS? I have gateway.

Gateway doesn't do VC GBA stuff at the moment. Your best bet is rxTools, it can be run alongside your Gateway setup and can be launched by the same methods. Remember to install the VC title on both your sysNAND and emuNAND.
