There have been games that I am DYING to play, but they don't translate well to computer controls. Is there any way to play GB and GBC games on Nintendo DS without a slot 2 catridge?

YES WE CAN!

Download an emulator called lameboy. Put the emu and roms in the same folder and profits.

YESSSSSSSSSSS!
And then just drop the folder with the emu and gbc roms onto my flash card?

Awesome! I downloaded it and am a very happy man right now.
When the screen changes some pixels get messed up on occasion, any way to fix that? If not it's not a big deal.

Lamboy is the best emulator out there. The only thing that's missing is the cheater's rewind button that NesDS has.

totally. To the point where after I've been playing NESDS too long, and I play another platformer, my instinct once I take a hit or fall is to immediately hit the L button...which does very little to help things.

i know alot of the older members here are bored of the question can u run gba roms on nds flashcards (r4/acekard) but i've been thinking what about trying to get the gba emulator into the correct format like what has been done with the gbc/nes/snes and so on failing that as weird as this sounds what about getting an actual nds emulator to run off the flashcard as that surely is able to run all previous gba/gbc/gb formats.
