Do you think Gateway will offer a faster way of installing A9l? Because I'd like to do it but I'm scared and it seems super long and difficult. I'd buy a Gateway just for the purpose of installling A9lh super easily if they provide a method to do so...

Not possible. k9lh will always require downgrading to 2.1. Only reason we have k9lh is because Nintendo forgot to lock the OTP before 3.0

What about a menu/button/option marked : "otp retrieval" that would automatically: -back up sys and emu, downgrade to 2.1 and check if it worked, retrieve OTP, restore sy/emu to original state...

If only such a thing existed...

I don't care about the A9LH installation, there's a perfectly fine guide by Plialect for that. What I want is a payload (for Luma3DS) that enables Gateway mode, e.g. press select when booting (SDMC:/luma/payloads/start_Gateway.bin) then press select on the cartridge icon to get your Gateway menu as per usual.

Can be many issue, both my emunamd card and gateway card are 32 gb class 10 card. The fact ghateway can only work on emunand can bring lag to the table.

That's not true - hold B while Boot Gateway Mode is highlighted and you'll have the option to boot gateway in SysNAND mode.

I realize it is May and the 4th, just hope that first line actually references May 4th and and not another 4th (June, July, etc) as I made the first post in the thread more than 1 month ago when I thought the update was near(er).

He's an admin of Max Console, which is labeled as the "Official Gateway Support Forum". If that's true, it's possible he has some kind of knowledge... maybe.
