Gateway is perfect for me. I just want to play games fast and easy. I spent the money on release and have no regrets at all - since today.

So to be clear, you would be OK if they copied from open CFWs?
Did you defend them even when they purposefully bricked people's consoles? (even of people who had a legit GW card, because of derps). Even for things like these? https://github.com/AuroraWright/Lum...-downgraded-from-the-gateway-menu-in-the-past at the time of 4.5, no one knew how much space Nintendo would have gotten to use in the future. With their mess, the used space doubles... I think things would have gotten really funny if this caused people to have a 100% filled up NAND... (bricking anyone?)

I don't think they'll copy my code, but I'd say it's probable they'll copy yifan's 3ds_injector without crediting him.

Actually if the code is licensed under the GPL yes, they can.
