Why is it that everyone wants to install games to their 3DS SD card? They work fine from the Gateway card. Plus, you're still required to have your Gateway card plugged in to launch your Emunand, so what reason is there?

I don't know really, your rite, I just wanted a copy of Luigis Mansion 2 on my home screen to look at and play that would satisfy me alot

You can play multiplayer without having two gateway cards (because i can take the card out after booting gateway mode)

Online doesn't work on installed CIA's. Local multiplayer... Probably.

Online doesn't work on installed CIA's. Local multiplayer... Probably.

For the CIA I made, local MP does'nt work, but it's a game with download fonction so maybe that's why.

There is a tutorial in the CFW thread about making the CIA, but the files are not linked there you need to find them looking at some places on the forum.

Any game can be converted to .cia ando installed with Devmenu ? I'm little confuse , I have read only 4.x games but later see people with Pokemon .cia

How would you get the devmenu 3ds file. So far I have only found the cia. Do i need to convert?

Can you not just grab the Luigis Mansion .3ds file and change it to .cia instead and install via the devmenu?

They're already pissed because the CFW got leaked, when it was never meant for release.

The game I made as CIA was using SDK 5.x, min FW 6.x so no it's not games from 4.5 FW max. I would like to try some 7.x games to see if it works (Dunno if the version of the xorpad generating tool have the key on it, so it might not even works at all) but I'm not sure which ones are. I think Tamadochi Life is one but I'm not sure, can someone confirm ?

They're not even close to the same file type, it wouldn't work.
