no i don't? i agree it was bad of gateway to include brick code but i don't agree that the product is 'defective'...

So if you buy an usb stick and it bricks your pc, then the usb stick isnt defective? Logic dude.....

Tbh he "might" end up getting his money back but I think he really needs to re-evaluate his sense of entitlement
If you go to the shady part of town to get your fix don't expect the service you would expect if you went legit

but it is the loader, the BETA loader. not the card. you paid for the card, you did not pay for the beta loader. is that not logic?

You're far too dense to understand anything, this isn't even a discussion, it's you being too stubborn to admit you're wrong because of a failed attempt at playing white knight by telling OTHER people to chargeback for THEIR shady product. This isn't even worth arguing if you're just going to repeat the same (incorrect) statements over and over.

So you are saying it's okay that Gateway released a product/software that bricks your 3DS?

I am saying I don't think that is okay. I don't think that is hard to understand.

Ok if the usb requires a firmware from their site to even work and then it bricks your pc because of the firmware. You are ok with it? Dont thinks so. That is logic.

I guess a far simpler analogy would be buying a banana from a fruit vendor, eating said banana, throwing the peel, slipping on said peel and threatening to sue aforementioned fruit vendor.

No it would be if you ate the banana and it killed you. I would expect my money back.

this is not about usb sticks, pc, firmware.
the loader with the bricking code is beta.
maybe you could try to sue gateway for doing it, BUT i do NOT believe that the PRODUCT you PAID FOR is defective.
we have lawyers for a reason, things like this are not so simple, but, you paid for the bard, not the loader.
maybe laws (depending on where you live) were broken, but, the product was not defective.

So you are saying those GW users with a brick are just a whining idiots because its beta so its their fault? I dont think those gw users agree with you.
haha don't twist my words lol... i had a girlfriend like you... geez
i am just saying that you did not pay to download the beta loader, that bricked your 3ds.
you paid for the hardware, the card.

Stop with the "analogies", mother of God. This is the ONLY one that actually relates to the OP, and I'm not even kidding, this is how horridly flawed his argument is.
i'm imagining the op buying bread, and getting a refund because it didn't fill him up.
he bought a service, to fill himself up and to experience the taste of bread, but not a product.
The RESELLER didn't sell you the launcher code and it wasn't bundled with the cart, plain and simple, the executed code is NOT the product you paid for. Suggesting people screw over retailers when they sold you a functional product is entirely moronic. I'm out, inb4 same copypasta reply to this again.

then try to sue them for something else, i am sure there are many 'product' laws out there, but what i am getting at is that what you bought is not defective.

Finally he pulls the quote I pointed him toward lol

Still a shady business no matter how you look at it though

I returned a team xecuter modchip that I could not get to flash correctly. It does not have to be a shady business. Just seems like these gateway guys are shady.

Who said sue? I was just saying you should ask for your money back.
