Completely agree. I look at it from a customer service point of view being that I buy and sell stuff all the time and also answer a LOT of people's questions on my YouTube page about it. Yet when I come here and state fact, I get bitched and moaned at by a bunch of people who have no hobbies OTHER than video games. So, sometimes you have to put these people in their place. You don't like what I have to say? Shut the fuck up and move on. Go outside. Get some air. Buy a hooker and get laid, because let's face it, a lot of you can't get a woman if you tried. Just get off of your fucking high horses and respect other people's opinions instead of attacking them.

The only people raging in this thread are those who are offended that I am not holding the Gateway on a pedestal. I never said I banged anyone's mom, I said I was old enough to be their father. Not that I am. You seemed to take that as if I was claiming to have been getting laid at 13, and even more specifically, with the guy's mom. I simply said I was blowing loads, therefore theoretically old enough to father a child at that age.

So I emphasized "DESERVE" and "OWE". Not raging or yelling. But again, it's true, people seem to be confusing being a paying customer with being given freeware softmods. They do owe their paying customers promised basic features in a timely manner, and they have not delivered (even a video). I've already explained this. If you're happy re-writing and swapping SD cards, that's just great, but it's more work than swapping original games. Archiving games is one of the main reason people want these devices in the first place. Believe it or not, it's not all about stealing games. It's too cumbersome, inconvenient and redundant to swap multiple SD cards or rewrite them over and over again. This is a promised feature that they have continuously delayed over and over. I don't know why people are attacking those who are being critical of that. It's to the point where I'm questioning their ability or the cartridges ability.

Back in the M3 days, updates were coming virtually on a daily basis with new or improved features that people were suggesting on forums. You could literally e-mail the guy (Danny) with your suggestion and he would implement it within days. No matter what I say, it's quite obvious that some of the people on these forums will argue and defend their precious Gateway, so go ahead. Argue, insult, twist words, compare technology, whatever. I'm done with this back and forth bickering, I've made my point several times over.

You (last two guys) even if you hate the slow support of Gateway, have you realised that up to this date, there is no other 3DS flashcard developer team that works better than them? In the case of Nismax, if you would have bought a R4i clone, what would be your opinion about that "hopefully we will have multiROM in 3.1 before Christmas" message? and dat Empty card (MT-Card) which has broken support for multiROM; games that require a firmware above 4.5 are not saving, and let's not even talk about the card2 ones; look at the list of WIP features that were supposed to be ready at launch.

The only thing you can do is wait for another team to appear, something that will take a lot of time to happen; oh, but your issue was actually impatience.

Doesn't matter. Point is this. If you put out a product, you are expected to support it and NOT lie about things and promise features that will NEVER come to fruition. You people act on here like it's made in a small batch and it's a homebrew. It's not. It's a commercially available product and as such should be supported by realistic expectations and be future proof.

Now, imagine this: you buy a PS4 and they promise a hard drive in your system so that you can download multiple games to put on there, but it only comes with a Blu-Ray drive and they keep telling you hard drive support is coming but it never comes. You'd be PISSED, wouldn't you.

If this was custom firmware, I wouldn't be so pissed or worried about support because it is free and made as a hobby. However, Gateway was made PURELY for commercial gain. It is NOT free and NOT made as a hobby. Therefore, it should be treated as a commercial product with the same expectations of something that you would pick up on the shelves of Best Buy.

It's sad that I have to EXPLAIN THIS to a bunch of people who claim to be adults. If you're really an adult, you'd KNOW this. But, I'm guessing most people here, especially those who treat Gateway Team like God and kiss their ass, are children who don't understand or know any better......

It would seem like some people don't quite understand what "planned updates" and "research" mean. The teams are no doubt working their asses off and it's a miracle that we even have Slot-1 solutions at this point in time.

MultiROM is a planned feature and will no doubt be released in due time. First it has to be checked for feasibility, researched, coded in, thoroughly tested and only once it's deemed to be safe to use can it be released to the End User. Until the time comes, have a look at what you already got and tell me with a straight face that the guys at Gateway aren't busting their asses off.

• When the product was new, it had no menu. They have a menu now.
• When the product was new, it couldn't dump NAND contents. Now it does.
• When the product was new, it didn't support NAND emulation. Now it does.
• When the product was new, it didn't allow you to play games from other regions. Now it bypasses the region lock completely.

This, alongside many other features shows commitment. The 3DS is a relatively new platform, it hasn't been fully researched and updates take time. The Gateway, as much as any other 3DS Mode cart, is as future-proof as the team could design it.

I quite agree with your post 100%. The GW team has not disappointed, they have come through every time. As far as must have features and innovative design, the original GW still leads.
