There's nothing really to think about. The only thing is that you have to be in EmuNAND if Streetpass is activated in EmuNAND and you shouldn't mess with the System Settings in EmuNAND.How do I street pass when using the Gateway 3DS? What limitations are there, and is there a certain EmuNAND required in order to street pass that way?
My main issue is that I am at 4.5.0 for EmuNAND, and am playing Bravely Default. However, I am not getting street passes from friends.
I did. He was sitting 10 feet away from me and nothing picked up. It was glowing green Street Pass at the top of my screen too. He has a much newer Firmware than I though, if that matters. Also, I do not have Spot Pass set up on my EmuNAND.
Streetpass =/= Spot Pass.
Is he receiving streetpass villagers from you? Because if he isn't, I strongly suspect you did not turn on streetpass for this title.
He does not have Bravely Default, and I did not know I have to turn on street passing for a specific title. I will have to look into that.
Both of you need to activate Streetpass for Bravely Default. Only then it will work.
Also might be interesting: It makes no sense but for some titles streetpass is region locked.
BD should have prompted you if you wanted to turn on streetpass. He.... does... not... have the game?????? Wat.
Say what? Region locked street pass?
Region locked streetpass means you can't streetpass with someone who has the same game from a different region. I'm not sure what games do this.BD should have prompted you if you wanted to turn on streetpass. He.... does... not... have the game?????? Wat.
Say what? Region locked street pass?
Yes unfortunately. I dont know why nintendo it would do this. It makes absolutely no sense. Because you get the streetpass for MiiPlaza, just not for the game. Its weird.Say what? Region locked street pass?
I'm currently playing BD on EmuNAND 4.4, my wife has a legit 3DS on latest firmware and like clockwork we exchange streetpass daily (almost done rebuilding my town, then I'll have to actually progress the storyline). If your friend lacks the game, have him get the free demo, it seems to streetpass between the demo and full game IIRC.]
I feel like no one has a 3DS though I take it with me everywhere and still it is very rare to get a streetpass, I've had maybe 2 streetpass strangers in the last 3 months. If it wasn't for my wife's 3DS Norende would still be a crater.
