Yeah I mean when the news first hit they said in about a month. It has now been 1 month and they are claiming more info next week and that the product is coming soon. As someone had mentioned they had a major holiday in China in June and that could have effected the production cycle. In an 'unconfirmed' email response they said that Nintendo's new update was not a move to block them but they may need to update code to get it working on 6.x. I am staying on 5.x until the cart releases and we see how they handle the 6.x process.
As for it being fake....let's hope not. A lot of vendors are offering and taking pre-orders. Many of these vendors are not pop-ups but have been around for a while and seem convinced their is a product (I am guessing some of them have had 'demostrations'). So lets just chill and see what transpires next week and beyond and if you are really serious about using this than just hold of on your update until more news comes....I mean my lord what 'features' or games do you want so bad that you need this update?
As for WiiU-Key......unlike gateway, the wii-key team is a known group that has delivered working products in the past. Why would they risk their reputation and honk off customers who have purchased the wiikey or their other products by lying? They gave no dates themselves and no price or pre-orders have begun (that I have seen). So just pan down on that product. I mean lord if their is a WiiU ODE within the first year of its release that will be super, I am guessing they will release the thing closer to the end of the year when the WiiU sales will be picking up do to the bundle of good games coming and the xmas season.
The level of entitlement here amazes me, you know if you are so pious just update and buy your software......no one is making you use 'backup' devices and no one cares if you support a given product or not...trust me if any of these products hit the market and work they are going to have plenty of sales with or without the bitchers.
