Tried that on my 4.4, and 4.5. Even formatted both of em :/.

I think the card probably is a fake. I also had the same problem but with the blue card never worked on my 3DS also trying to get a refund from him....

When you put the cart in, does the game show up on the title screen and then not play? or it just showes nothing at all? try different games from all regions.

Have you tried smacking it? It is made in china after all.

No one could have made a fake so quickly and then SOLD that fake to someone BEFORE official resellers even got their shipments. The Blue card they could just replace with a cheap r4 clone but the Red card had to be legit.

I got my gateway 3ds today from aliexpress packaging was all damaged strange. I tested the gateway 3ds with luigi mansion 2 which asked me to update which i did & it still worked. I wonder if the save data is saved onto the sd card so i can keep playing off one msd card instead of a few i will have to test this.

Yes. It saves it to the 3DS' SD card in the form of a .sav file.

you don't have to test it's already confirmed. The saves are saved to the sd card as .sav when you exit the game via home button and close it. You can use 1 Msd card and have all the games u want ot play on your computer waiting but it's still impractical

Thats two with damaged packaging & two more who flashcarts don't work. Maybe this jordan guy is a con.

Thanks for confirming about the save feature. The only other issue is having to format the msd card when ever i put a new rom in. Thats life. I didn 't use the blue cart to get into gateway mode i used my r4i gold 3ds to do that & it worked so i would advise using old flashcarts to get into gateway mode if blue one doesn't work.

Sure, not a problem.

The reason sites like this tend to be worse is that they're not officially endorsed by Gateway. Sites often throw up an "In Stock" label on their sites, which gets impatient people to simply throw down money thinking they will get it soon, when the actual reality is they have no stock whatsoever. It happens on many sites, and the best thing to counter this is for one, shop at a more reliable site (check shoptemp.net's reviews of resellers) or b) read the item description very carefully as more often than not they will include a tiny tiny note saying "Preorder only."

Another caveat of a lesser known website is that their reliability is often thrown into question. With little ratings to back them up, they can easily be a good site, or to the cynical person it could be a death trap that gets your money. Once they have your money, it becomes difficult to get it back. I've tried, and my success rate is small compared to a reliable reseller. As the case of sonic in the other thread proves, he ordered from a lesser known reseller, and he got his unit alright, but it broke earlier today. Sellers and lower tier resellers will pull many tricks to make sure they don't have to pay, as there are many loopholes in the system that can be taken advantage of. Here, I'll leave an example. Buyer preorders item on website through Paypal, does not get it for over a month. Item arrives shortly after but is damaged. Buyer complains about item, Paypal claims it cannot do anything as transaction happened over 45 days ago, which is the limit for any transaction to be disputed. And they won't refund either if it came from Paypal balance. Things like this.

You guys can bitch at me, and say that I'm some sort of douchebag liar or whatnot, but I've ordered and dealt with these people for years. If you get a working and legitimate unit, congratulations, really. I'm honestly happy for you if you do, and be sure to let us know about it. If you get a faulty unit, or it breaks or is completely damaged in transit, do not say I did not warn you.

Not trying to scare you, just trying to get you guys to see what can happen if you're impatient with your money. And if you get a broken unit, sure you can try talking to them, nothing wrong with doing so. Credit card companies may help, but you're treading a fine line because the item in question is not exactly legal.

I'm not saying all sellers unofficiated are bad, by any means here. NH-game has been around for a while, though. I'm not too worried with their operation at present.
