Things in general out of China are just a bit shady to begin with. And yeah, I totally agree with the RHS sentiments, they have been around for a long time, since I first got into the scene. But people just don't listen to me lol.
Well, it was working for him at first, so I don't know how they'd fake ROMs working unless they had their own exploit. It was probably just handled poorly or something.

Yup. Was playing sticker star, console froze. Rebooted and its dead.

Maybe the beta files corrupted it or something. Report this to the Gateway team, this could be much deeper then the reliability of Aliexpress (which was already in question).

Did you try removing "Gateway mode" from the 3DS completely(can you even remove it?)? You can't say it's officially broken until you can test it on another 4.5 console to make sure.

Damn, I haven't been on here in while. My wife and I went on a mushroom trip like 10 years ago. A friend had a PS3TV with the glasses and some racing game. It hit when I was playing the game and I freaked out because I thought I was really driving and crashed. -
