Yes.
did you copy Launcher.dat to your 3DS INTERNAL SD Card?

Yes.
did you copy Launcher.dat to your 3DS INTERNAL SD Card?

Not the .DG but launcher.datI copied the DG file as instructed, the short tutorial here doesn't seem to mention that unless I am overlooking something here.
Not the .DG but launcher.dat
EDIT: launcher.dat is in the GW 3.0.1 zip file in downloads.
0) PLUG IN YOUR SYSTEM
1) go to gateway site and select downloads
2) look for Downgrade file sets
3) download YOUR 3DS REGION (we have no confirmation of region changing)
4) place .DG file on your 3DS SD (the big one)
5) load gateway exploit through BROWSER menu
6) hold L as soon as bottom screen turns white
7) backup your sysNAND(this is forced and it MUST be on your SD card)
8) at Gateway menu scroll right to downgrade selection
9) follow on screen prompts
10) console will take a few moments to restart, do not panic!
The next few steps are required if you don't want to use the browser exploit
11) install the blue card exploit once downgrade is complete
12) no more wifi at startup!!!!
13) just go to settings/other settings/profile/DS profile to launch gateway now

Now to figure out my second hang up.
Got downgraded, back to 4.2, and ran the exploit from my blue card, but now when I put the gateway card in and go to "gateway" mode, by screen goes black and freezes.
Anyone with a clue?
So, is it possible to downgrade the 2DS?

Quick question for the pros:
Is it possible to apply the .cia in this thread on sysNAND, then launch the Blue Card's exploit on 9.2, thereby making downgrading pointless? Or is the exploit only possible on 4.1-4.5 because of a firmware/SDK vulnerability?
"FORMAT EMUNAND"
WARNING: This will wipe your internal 3DS Card Run a NAND backup first and then copy the NAND.BIN to your PC.

Will GW release ways to do exploit offline for 2DS and N3DS users

Nope, not supported at this time. Probably because they never had a 4.5 firmware.
Hey guys, just checked out the diagnostic test, and something's real wonky with my gateway.
It passed EVERY test with an OK!, but yet is still getting "filesystem error" SPECIFICALLY from my 16GB microSD.
Any more ideas on what could have caused this, aside from a faulty gateway?
