Hi!
I wanted to print some (around 90) Wii game covers. I didn't find online any other database so detailed with front covers anywhere else - but (i'm not sure) are the covers on GameTDB printable?
The Wii ones look super detailed but too low in resolution (even the HQ files) to be printed, hopefully i'm wrong.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, as of now, the HQ full cover size is as big as the site offers.

I guess you can print the covers out larger.

Anyone know if there is a "clean" cover pack available? As in, a pack with no Homebrew covers, no covers for Hacks, no mock retro console covers(covers for SNES, Genesis, etc.), just covers for retail versions of Wii and GameCube games.

The games in titles.txt are sorted in a way so custom games are in a different section than the retail ones. You could take a look at that and if you're good enough, be able to delete all of those from the cover pack you downloaded.

so wiiflow (lite) and usbloader gx can't download covers for SKNP52 Skylanders: Superchargers Racing because the language code is set to FI.
and in libogc/conf.h it doesn't give us an option for that language or area. can we get that changed on gametdb.com or is there another way to download it for usbloaders?

this might apply to all games that use FI plus SE, DK, NO.

@fledge68 I didn't see your message until now! It should be able to download the FI cover for SKNP52 in usbloader gx or wiiflow by setting FI as the preferred language in the usxbloader gx or wiiflow configuration. But even with a different preferred language it should fall back to the EN cover if the preferred cover is not available. The FI full cover contains English text but is the nordic version. We would need to find the UK version so that it can be found as the default.

@jessn if your mod is available and playable it can be added, please tell us when it's released

Whats the point of the: "Download PS3 database" section if for example both the EN or DE files lists all the same title IDs (not region specific)? I created an fully automatic macro to download all game updates for every title ID from the "GameTDB" database with help of PC tool for PS3 updates: "PS3 Game Lists" (its better than other tools because it puts the downloaded .pkgs in the folder with game names/titleIDs). Sony servers for PS3 games (and updates) will shut down sooner or later and I certainly dont want it to happen that easy.....

I dont know any more better/faster/automatic way than doing it this way (maybe little time consuming but its at least automatic).... but as I can see you are still adding PS3 title IDs.

The EN and DE versions are meant for the localized titles or descriptions. For the txt version a German user can get German titles and English when there is no German title (or the original title depending on the region when using the first link on the page with "orig")
For the xml version a German user can get titles in all languages (it doesn't take much extra space and could be used to allow a user to display titles in English but have descriptions in German) but only the German descriptions (to avoid downloading English descriptions).
To get the IDs for a specific region you can use the xml version of the database, it contains all the information found on game pages (the first link on the page without the lang filter contains all titles and all descriptions)

So before I submit these, I'd love some feedback, I just threw this together this afternoon,..

Legend of Zelda 64 - Dawn & Dusk Mod [NTSC-U] [NAGE01] WiiWare/VC

It's an N64 OoT mod that I'm sure you're all probably familiar with.
I just took the hack, made the patched wad, used ShowMiiWads -yada-yada...
And now I can play it through WiiFlow EmuNAND.

BUT, since it's NOT REAL WiiWare/VC, naturally WiiFlow doesn't find a cover for it.

So,..I made one, lol

And before it's said,.. I KNOW that's a Majora's Mask image i used,...but it's just f*ckin' RAD!

Could someone with an account please add GKFJMS to the current GKFJ8P entry (Chaos Field Expanded, Gamecube NTSC-J). I discovered that my dump is actually the former, but GameTDB only has an entry and cover for the latter.

Also, entry and cover for the Japanese version of 18 Wheeler - American Pro Trucker (GWEJB0) is missing. I was only able to find a low res scan of the cover in the Amazon Japan listing. If anyone has one that is good enough for the database, please add it.

Some bugs I found:

- Please rename Okami (with strange O symbol) to just "Okami" to avoid the game showing up as "kami" at the end of the list

- Ocarina if time: there's an extra space after ”Zelda" and before the :

- Sonic Adventure DX has no spaces and shows up as "SonicAdventureDX"

-There's no space between Soul Calibur so it shows up altogether

PS: both my console/launcher are set in Spanish (I mention that because I don't know if those bugs are shown also with other languages or just in Spanish)

@deSSy2724: I just saw your message. We could add them if someone is interested in maintaining a Vita section (ideally more than just one person). We could already use some help for the existing sections.

Thanks kokenhalliwell,

I'm afraid we can't do that for Ōkami because it's the correct spelling. But there's a solution, if you use USB Loader GX it has a font option that allows you to select a font that includes the Ō. Another solution if you can't change the font is to edit the title in the xml. If you don't use USB Loader GX you could ask the author to add support for the correct title with Ō (although it wouldn't be displayed alphabetically next to O).

I checked the Spanish titles and removed the extra spaces before the colon (:) as needed, but couldn't find the titles you mentioned. Which game IDs do you have for Ocarina Of Time and Sonic Adventure DX ? There was an extra space for Majora's Mask but not Ocarina Of Time, and I couldn't find SonicAdventureDX. Maybe you have different IDs?

I couldn't find "Soul Calibur" either in the titles (only the correct SoulCalibur). Is it possible that you have a very old version of wiitdb.xml ?

Here's how to check the titles on the site:
- the full search is on this page https://www.gametdb.com/Wii/Search
- fill any information or part of the information, for instance Soul Cal in "title (ES)"
- click Search just above the search form
Another way is to download the titles.txt from here and search for the title https://www.gametdb.com/Wii/Downloads

Sorry, I'm sure somebody has already posted on this.. I searched a bit though and didn't find anything on this.

Is there a way to have an app or program automatically add the gametdb code to (the end) of a file or folder? In this specific case, I'm working with gamecube games.
