Hacking Gamecube games not working on Usb Loader GX [vWii]

If I split a 256g flash drive into part wbfs format and part FAT32 format. For some reason USB Loader GX does not recognize my gamecube games even when I have GC games checked. And yes, I am using the correct usb port, top port on the back. Does this work on regular Wii? Or does it not work on both? or am I just doing something wrong?

What is the path of your GameCube games?
And why not just one big FAT32 partition? It would make life simpler.

And it's the port nearest the edge you want.
